Responsibilities
- Support performance of specialty beef categories by guiding product selection, aligning with customer needs, and enhancing profitability.
- Help define production plans, facility assignments, and customer allocations in line with program standards and operational capacity.
- Contribute to maximizing carcass usage through inventory oversight, opportunity identification, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Coordinate with production teams across multiple sites to ensure accurate output based on demand forecasts.
- Assist in setting weekly production limits, fabrication priorities, and allocation adjustments based on supply and demand.
- Communicate weekly cattle headcount and program requirements to procurement teams.
- Participate in demand forecasting and S&OP processes by preparing data, aligning inputs, and supporting execution.
- Help maintain pricing frameworks, overage strategies, and program-specific pricing models in coordination with pricing and sales teams.
- Monitor forward-sold and spot-sold inventory positions and support actions to reduce exposure and improve product movement.
- Manage new product request (NPR) creation and updates to ensure product codes reflect customer and program requirements.
- Coordinate sample requests, new item setups, and product evaluations with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
- Maintain up-to-date pricing sheets, program documentation, and reporting tools for leadership and cross-functional use.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Compensation
Eligible for annual bonus under company incentive plan; 401(k) with company match after one year; benefits include medical, dental, vision after 60 days; paid time off includes sick leave, vacation, and 6 company holidays.
