Chemin is hiring a part-time Bahasa Melayu and English Audio Transcriber for a 2-month project. In this role, you will optimize AI training data by segmenting and transcribing raw audio clips, directly enhancing AI models.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality transcriptions of audio clips with minimal to no revisions.
- Precisely segment spoken content into distinct components.
- Identify and label speakers appropriately within the audio.
- Transcribe all audio content in each segment in its respective language.
- Proactively communicate challenges or queries with Project Managers.
- Meet key deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
What We're Looking For
- Malaysian citizen fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (particularly written).
- Strong listening & comprehension skills, including accents, dialects, and background noise.
- Professional attitude: responsive and inquisitive to ask clarifying questions.
- Possess a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in spelling, labeling tags (gender, age, emotion), and segmenting.
- Efficient time management skills to meet and exceed deliverables.
- A high level of focus and patience to complete tasks thoroughly.
- Available for at least 4 hours per day, including weekends when necessary.
- Able to commit to the project from November 10th to January 10th.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with transcription tools or data annotation projects, especially in linguistics.
