Responsibilities
- Produce bacon items according to defined product standards for the assigned station
- Attend and complete all required safety training programs specific to the role
- Attend and complete all mandatory food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP) training
- Support product adjustments and reprocessing activities as directed

- Perform duties in areas where animal processing occurs
- Regularly work in cold environments, including freezers and coolers near or below freezing
- Operate in workspaces with persistent unpleasant odors
- Work in damp or cold conditions, such as fabrication areas between 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Endure extreme heat in certain work zones
- Perform tasks requiring lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds
- Handle sharp knives or cutting instruments as part of daily duties
- Be available and able to work overtime, especially during peak season from August to February
- Work flexible shifts including days and nights
- Work on Saturdays as required
- Be willing and physically able to work in bloody environments, performing repetitive motions in a fast-paced setting
- Acknowledge that physically intense roles may require 5 to 6 weeks for full acclimatization to job conditions and environment
