Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain backend systems and interfaces for financial reporting and tax compliance tools using Node.js and TypeScript
- Support backend implementation and interface architecture, including creating and updating services to meet changing product needs
- Help ensure stability and performance of backend systems within the team, covering continuous integration and deployment pipelines, container orchestration with Kubernetes, system monitoring, and observability setups
- Work closely with Product, Design, and other technical teams to produce scalable, testable, and maintainable software solutions
- Engage in peer code evaluations, assist in shaping technical direction and system design, and support improvements in engineering standards
- Assist frontend development using React.js when necessary by implementing user features and connecting front-end components to backend services
