Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services that support satellite command execution, automated flight operations, and daily mission activities.
- Manage command and telemetry processing across various satellite platforms and ground network providers, prioritizing system safety, reliability, and monitoring capabilities.
- Implement and maintain production-grade backend applications in Python, overseeing full lifecycle development from concept to deployment and ongoing support.
- Work closely with flight software, embedded systems, test engineering, and infrastructure teams to integrate new satellite types and features into the mission control platform.
- Enhance APIs, operational workflows, and diagnostic tools to better serve internal users such as mission operators, test engineers, and customer solutions teams.
- Participate in spacecraft operations via SatDevOps rotations, contributing to real-time anomaly resolution and incident response when necessary.
