Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services that handle the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of payload data from ground stations and external sources to internal platforms and customer destinations.
- Build and refine data pipelines and APIs, prioritizing data integrity, traceability, speed, and system resilience.
- Take ownership of backend modules including data connectors, processing workflows, and distribution services used by internal teams and customer-facing applications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as mission planning, operations, space infrastructure, and customer support to ensure seamless integration between satellite tasking and ground data handling.
- Assist internal platform users by enhancing data APIs, diagnosing complex data inconsistencies, and improving monitoring through metrics, logs, and dashboards.
- Participate in spacecraft operations via SatDevOps rotations, contributing to anomaly investigations and real-time incident response as required.
Compensation
Base salary range is shared per state law. Final offer depends on education, experience, skills, and location. Range reflects variations in experience level, role scope, and regional market conditions. Candidates are assessed individually against role requirements and local benchmarks.
