Responsibilities
- Architect and develop backend infrastructure for AI components such as action servers, document processing workflows, agent-based systems, natural language to command interfaces, and on-premise deployment tooling
- Create reliable and scalable API layers that integrate AI models with client applications and internal operational platforms
- Develop systems to ingest and process unstructured data including PDFs, audio transcripts, image metadata, and geospatial data streams
- Engineer solutions optimized for restricted environments—lightweight, containerized, low-dependency, and auditable systems operable without direct developer involvement
- Produce readable, tested, and documented code to ensure maintainability by other engineers and operational teams
- Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and machine learning operations to deliver fully functional AI components from concept to deployment
- Assist deployment engineers with debugging, operational tool development, and real-world issue resolution
