At Zup Innovation, you will serve as a technical reference in building and evolving backend solutions on AWS, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You will tackle complex technical challenges in distributed environments and support the evolution of engineering practices.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve backend architecture in AWS environments, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, supporting strategic decisions and guiding development standards.
- Solve high-complexity challenges related to performance, scalability, and security.
- Ensure solution quality through good code practices, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Support the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and integrations within a microservices architecture.
- Monitor, optimize, and guarantee the observability of services in production.
- Lead initiatives related to messaging and distributed architecture.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary areas in sustaining critical environments and technical decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced programming in Java 17+ and solid experience with Spring Boot.
- Development, consumption, and documentation of RESTful APIs.
- Mastery of AWS services used in backend environments (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Knowledge of microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience with messaging and system integration.
- Security practices applied to backend development.
- Techniques for monitoring, performance, and observability in production.
- Experience with agile methodologies and code versioning in collaborative teams.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a technical reference or mentoring other professionals.
- Experience in mission-critical projects or high-availability environments.
- Systemic vision to propose architectural and process improvements.
