Join Simcorp as a Backend Developer focused on building innovative, efficient, and attractive ESG offers for financial clients. In this role, you will apply your skills across the development lifecycle within a scrum team, delivering solutions for SimCorp Dimension and the Azure cloud.
What You'll Do
- Apply your talents to all stages of the development lifecycle, including creation and review of user stories, development, design, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support.
- Develop continuous improvements to the existing code base.
- Translate regulatory sustainability requirements into a product and innovations.
- Create standard configuration for sustainability regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with your Scrum team to reach the definition of done within each sprint.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and get fast feedback.
- Constantly learn and improve yourself, the team and our product, including working with modern engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair and mob programming.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Solid programming experience in C# using the .NET framework.
- Ability to work with and develop complex architecture.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Nice to Have
- Interest or knowledge about Investment Management and ESG.
- Interest or experiences with APL.
