Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable data pipelines and data warehouse systems to enable migration to Snowflake.
- Create and manage ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory and dbt for data transformation and loading into Snowflake.
- Develop and oversee dbt models and transformations to enable structured and maintainable data layers.
- Apply data warehouse best practices in schema design, data partitioning, and performance tuning within Snowflake.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to define data needs and deliver accurate data solutions.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness through testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
- Optimize Snowflake workloads for query performance, storage efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Diagnose and fix issues in data pipelines, including failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
- Support the evolution of data platform architecture, pipeline standards, and engineering workflows.
