About the Role
The role involves working with Azure cloud platforms to build and manage secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions. The engineer will collaborate with teams to support digital transformation initiatives and ensure smooth operations across cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services
- Ensure cloud environments meet security and compliance standards
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on cloud integration
- Monitor system performance and optimize cloud resource usage
- Implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning
- Support migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Maintain documentation for cloud architectures and configurations
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices
- Work with stakeholders to understand technical requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud operations
- Enforce identity and access management policies
- Configure virtual networks and security groups
- Manage cloud storage solutions and data protection
- Support implementation of monitoring and alerting tools
- Assist in cost management and cloud spending optimization
- Promote use of Infrastructure as Code principles
- Participate in architectural reviews and design sessions
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance in cloud setups
- Collaborate on DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical guidance to project teams
- Engage in knowledge sharing and team development
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Contribute to cloud governance frameworks
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-104)
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Background in healthcare or public sector IT
- Familiarity with agile project methodologies
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Prometheus
- Understanding of service-level agreements and operational support
- Previous work in international teams
