About the Role

Capgemini is looking for an AWS Node.JS Developer to join a product team, contributing to end-to-end product development and delivery. You'll design and develop complex or significant parts of systems, writing high-quality, well-tested code in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Work as part of a product team, contributing to end‑to‑end product development and delivery.
  • Plan and organize development activities; coordinate tasks effectively within the team.
  • Design and develop complex or significant parts of a system or sub-system.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code supporting product-level functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and solve well‑defined engineering problems with minimal guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure functional, scalable, and secure product delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with the NodeJS and AWS ecosystems.
  • Ability to solve problems independently with minimal oversight.
  • Solid understanding of product engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS with JavaScript ES6+.
  • Experience working with GitHub (branching, pull requests, workflows).
  • Strong backend development skills with cloud-native architecture understanding.

Nice to Have

  • Java / Spring Boot for backend microservices support.
  • ReactJS for front-end integration or full-stack capability.
  • Experience in building RESTful services or microservices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and Agile development practices.
