Capgemini is looking for an AWS Node.JS Developer to join a product team, contributing to end-to-end product development and delivery. You'll design and develop complex or significant parts of systems, writing high-quality, well-tested code in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a product team, contributing to end‑to‑end product development and delivery.
- Plan and organize development activities; coordinate tasks effectively within the team.
- Design and develop complex or significant parts of a system or sub-system.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code supporting product-level functionality.
- Troubleshoot and solve well‑defined engineering problems with minimal guidance.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure functional, scalable, and secure product delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience with the NodeJS and AWS ecosystems.
- Ability to solve problems independently with minimal oversight.
- Solid understanding of product engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Proficiency in NodeJS with JavaScript ES6+.
- Experience working with GitHub (branching, pull requests, workflows).
- Strong backend development skills with cloud-native architecture understanding.
Nice to Have
- Java / Spring Boot for backend microservices support.
- ReactJS for front-end integration or full-stack capability.
- Experience in building RESTful services or microservices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Understanding of product lifecycle and Agile development practices.
