Responsibilities
- Guide and support engineering teams with technical expertise and ensure efficient delivery of assigned tasks
- Manage daily workflows, distribute assignments via JIRA, and assist in overcoming technical obstacles
- Align technical implementation with defined project goals and business outcomes
- Develop AWS-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available
- Construct cloud environments using core AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Follow AWS-recommended best practices and adhere to the Well-Architected Framework
- Automate provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, and GitOps methods
- Ensure consistency, auditability, and security in all infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Enforce AWS security standards including IAM policies, KMS encryption, and network security configurations
- Oversee multi-account AWS environments and enforce compliance using Organizations, Service Control Policies, and Control Tower
- Engage in recurring meetings with stakeholders to review Landing Zone setup, infrastructure-as-code progress, and migration plans
- Monitor cloud migration timelines and operational activities to ensure on-time execution
- Evaluate existing cloud setups and recommend optimizations for cost, performance, and security
- Advocate for modern AWS-native services to improve system efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate across development, operations, security, and architecture units
- Convert business requirements into secure, future-ready cloud solutions while providing organization-wide technical leadership
