About the Role
This role involves leading the design and implementation of cloud environments on AWS while integrating site reliability engineering practices to ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence across client systems.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure AWS architectures aligned with business goals
- Implement infrastructure as code using modern tooling
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability
- Integrate automated monitoring and alerting systems
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with development teams on system design
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Drive adoption of observability across services
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from planning to execution
- Maintain system documentation and architectural diagrams
- Evaluate new AWS services for potential implementation
- Troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Promote self-healing system designs
- Establish disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Mentor engineers on cloud and SRE practices
- Contribute to on-call rotations with post-incident reviews
- Automate routine operational tasks
- Enforce CI/CD best practices in deployment pipelines
- Apply security by design in cloud configurations
- Work with stakeholders to define service level objectives
Nice to Have
