Responsibilities
- Participate in the Avionics Systems team to create and carry out system test procedures.
- Assist Flight Test with avionics system testing and evaluations, covering development tests, company tests, and certification tests.
- Work with Flight Test instrumentation and laboratory instrumentation teams to set up fault injection and data capture equipment.
- Examine issues from flight tests and the Integrated Test Lab.
- Define and revise avionics and lighting system requirements based on input from Human Factors, Systems Engineering, System Safety, and Flight Test.
- Review electrical and mechanical design drawings.
- Oversee changes to avionics and lighting equipment in labs and on aircraft.

Compensation
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $102,900 - $157,540/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
