Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an Automation Tester to lead testing efforts for critical software solutions supporting a federal agency. You will design and execute automated and manual tests to ensure high levels of quality, functionality, and performance.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and JIRA.
Analyze requirements to create detailed test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into continuous delivery pipelines.
Perform manual testing as needed and validate code changes using GitHub workflows.
Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and supporting documentation.
Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Take on additional responsibilities to support team goals and project success.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
Proficiency with Cypress, Playwright, JIRA, Jenkins, and version control tools like GitHub.
Strong scripting skills in Java or Python and working knowledge of SQL.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
Ability to obtain government clearance is required.
