Responsibilities
- Develop and refine comprehensive UI and API test automation suites using Playwright and TypeScript as the core technology stack.
- Sustain and grow current automation frameworks by applying modular design principles, including reusable Page Object Models and step-level abstractions.
- Implement reliable test logic that manages asynchronous operations, custom promise handling, network monitoring, and dynamic element detection.
- Utilize advanced AI-powered coding assistants such as Cursor IDE, Claude 3.5 Sonnet or Opus, ChatGPT, and Gemini to speed up test creation, improve code quality, and optimize frameworks.
- Integrate automated test executions into continuous integration and delivery systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins for scheduled regression and overnight test runs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams during planning sessions to define acceptance criteria and convert them into targeted automated and manual test cases.
- Identify, log, and monitor software bugs using Jira, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of test plans, test environments, test cases, and both automated and manual test scripts.
