getolo is hiring an Automation Engineer (all genders)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage automated workflows and AI-driven processes from concept to production using n8n and integrated tools.
  • Deploy practical artificial intelligence applications such as text classification, summarization, content generation, and request routing using both self-hosted and cloud-based models.
  • Turn the operational automation and AI strategy into functional, delivered systems.
  • Maintain full ownership of operational workflow automations, while coordination with Product & Engineering occurs for claims engine automation.
  • Ensure automation reliability through monitoring, error resolution, and iterative improvements.
  • Manage and optimize the company's Zendesk instance, aligning configuration with evolving operational needs.
  • Create and refine in-platform automations within Zendesk to minimize manual tasks and accelerate response times.
  • Integrate AI capabilities for intelligent ticket triage, tagging, routing, and response suggestions in customer support.
  • Improve automation coverage and self-service options without compromising customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to identify and implement enhancements in operational processes.
  • Build auxiliary automation components that support the claims lifecycle but fall outside the core engine.
  • Engage deeply with Product & Engineering workflows when necessary to enable seamless end-to-end claims automation.
  • Automate internal operations such as payment processing to eliminate repetitive manual work.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams like Sales to develop and sustain automated data exchanges between departments.
  • Document and standardize automated procedures to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.
  • Track automation performance using defined metrics such as automation rate, handling time, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to uncover automation opportunities and assess system performance.
  • Deliver clear reports on automation effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Design automated systems with a focus on data privacy, traceability, and compliance.
  • Incorporate human oversight mechanisms for high-impact automated decisions.
  • Coordinate with legal experts to ensure adherence to GDPR, insurer requirements, and internal policies.
  • Manage tasks and collaborate across teams using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal champion for automation and AI within Operations.
  • Share knowledge and document solutions to support team growth and scalability.
