TSMG is hiring an Audio Recording Specialist with German (Switzerland regional variant)

About the Role

The role involves recording spoken German with native-level fluency, specifically the regional variant spoken in Switzerland. The specialist will follow technical guidelines to produce clear, accurate audio for processing and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Record spoken German using specified dialectal features from Switzerland
  • Follow audio quality standards for clarity and consistency
  • Adhere to pronunciation guidelines specific to Swiss German
  • Use provided scripts to ensure accurate verbal delivery
  • Operate recording equipment in a quiet, controlled environment
  • Ensure recordings are free from background noise or distortion
  • Submit audio files according to established protocols
  • Maintain consistent vocal tone and pacing
  • Review recordings for errors before submission
  • Meet deadlines for assigned recording tasks
  • Communicate with team leads regarding technical issues
  • Follow data privacy practices when handling recordings
  • Use designated software for recording and file management
  • Participate in quality review sessions when requested
  • Adapt delivery based on feedback from supervisors
  • Stay available during scheduled recording windows
  • Ensure microphone and audio settings are properly calibrated
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain a professional approach during all interactions
  • Complete assigned training modules on recording standards
  • Contribute to improving recording workflows when possible
  • Handle scripts and materials with confidentiality
  • Participate in onboarding if required
  • Support consistency across multiple recording sessions
  • Respond to scheduling and task updates in a timely manner
