Side is hiring an Audio Designer - Talent Pool (EU)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate adaptive audio systems and ambient soundscapes to enrich player engagement and narrative depth
  • Work closely with designers, visual artists, and software developers to establish audio needs and ensure seamless integration
  • Capture, process, and produce high-fidelity sound effects and voice recordings
  • Organize and handle audio content using middleware platforms such as Wwise or FMOD
  • Integrate 3D spatial audio, responsive music frameworks, and layered sound design for immersive environments
  • Identify and resolve audio-related performance issues across various gaming platforms
  • Deliver original audio strategies to address creative and technical challenges in game mechanics and story delivery
  • Ensure uniformity in sonic quality and artistic direction throughout the project lifecycle
