The base compensation range for this position is $27.00 - $28.50 hourly. Our Sales Coordinator serves as the central point for managing sales and marketing systems and reporting requirements. This role provides administrative support to the sales team, handling system updates and reporting. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and self-motivation. The successful individual must effectively coordinate daily needs for remote and on-site sales teams, demonstrating comfort with guest interactions, strong written communication, ability to conduct interdepartmental meetings, and technological proficiency. The candidate should possess a desire to develop expert-level expertise in hospitality-specific technological systems. Responsibilities: - Advance Mauna Lani's revenue objectives by generating group business through multiple communication channels - Identify and develop new business opportunities and cultivate effective client relationships - Maintain precise records in Delphi/Salesforce client database - Provide prompt communication responses within 24-hour windows - Collaborate with tourism organizations to maximize promotional opportunities - Participate in daily sales leadership discussions - Uphold professional and ethical sales service standards - Demonstrate flexibility with work hours and location requirements - Execute additional assigned responsibilities - Perform various physical activities including reaching, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs - Maintain consistent finger dexterity and visual acuity - Stand and walk extensively during property inspections - Communicate effectively via telephone and respond to emergencies Qualifications: Required: - Four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience - Minimum 5 years luxury hotel sales experience - Proven track record of driving revenue in luxury hospitality environments Desirable: - Prior sales office experience - Experience with professional leisure/transient hotel sales organizations Auberge Collection represents an extraordinary portfolio of hotels, residences, and private clubs. Working closely with fellow guest service team members and other departments to resolve any challenges, ensure follow-through, and exceed guest expectations when possible. * Ensuring that all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests. Qualifications: * Must reside in the U.S. Mainland. * Two years in a hospitality or reservations position, preferably at a luxury resort. * Ability to create professional business letter correspondence. * Must possess gracious people and sales skills, excellent phone manner and ability to engage in a positive manner with each and every guest. * Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team. * Must have one year of Opera experience. * Google, Navis Certification & Software experience preferred.
