Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of EMEA benefits including health insurance, life and disability coverage, retirement plans, allowances, and wellness programs in Hungary and neighboring countries, in collaboration with the UK-based Total Rewards Partner.
  • Oversee statutory and supplemental leave programs across EMEA, such as maternity, paternity, parental, sick leave, and other legally required absences, working closely with payroll and HR teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for local benefits providers, insurance brokers, and pension administrators; monitor service performance, manage enrollment and termination processes, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance of EMEA benefits with local labor laws and statutory regulations; maintain country-specific documentation, assist in audits, and identify upcoming legal changes.
  • Adapt global benefits strategies to align with local market standards, legal minimums, and cultural expectations across EMEA while supporting overall global Total Rewards objectives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on benefits and leave, providing clear and compassionate responses, and develop easy-to-understand resources to reduce recurring questions.
  • Lead end-to-end support for annual benefits renewals and local enrollment cycles, including HRIS updates, system testing, communications, and post-cycle reviews, allowing the UK partner to focus on strategic planning.
  • Extract and reconcile enrollment and billing data; generate regular reports and dashboards on participation rates, costs, and trends to guide decision-making for future renewals and plan designs.
  • Support regional benefits benchmarking and market analysis efforts by gathering data and summarizing findings for leadership review.
  • Review and reconcile monthly invoices from benefits providers against HRIS records; collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams on coding and approval workflows.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency in benefits administration within Workday and through vendor partnerships; document standard processes jointly with the UK Total Rewards Partner.
  • Collaborate daily with the UK-based Total Rewards Partner and maintain regular coordination with the U.S. Senior Benefits Analyst to ensure global consistency, share best practices, and deliver a unified employee experience.
  • Provide occasional Total Rewards support for LATAM and APAC regions as needed, including responding to employee inquiries, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring consistent program delivery outside EMEA.
