Celerion is hiring an Associate Scientist to join our Molecular and Cell Biology team. In this onsite role in Lincoln, NE, you will apply your scientific expertise to develop new bioanalytical methods, supporting our mission with integrity and teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Undertake original research, developing and qualifying assays using technologies like flow cytometry, ELIspot, and qPCR.
- Support the Global Director in achieving business objectives through project management, innovation, and change management.
- Develop methods by applying scientific theories and interpreting regulatory requirements for bioanalytical studies.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to study teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Author scientific papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate and provide technical expertise during client visits.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology.
- 2-3 years of related industry experience.
- Proven proficiency in cellular and molecular biology techniques, particularly flow cytometry and cell-based assays.
- Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills, with the ability to present to multidisciplinary audiences.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively and independently with staff in other locations.
- Attention to timelines and their impact on business outcomes.
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree.
- CRO experience.
- Prior experience working in a regulated GLP or GCP-compliant environment.
- Experience utilizing statistical tools, LIMS software (WATSON, eNotebook), and flow cytometry analysis (e.g., FloJo).
