Oversee and maintain cloud environments on Azure or AWS, focusing on cost efficiency, performance, security, and scalability
Evaluate cloud spending patterns and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising performance
Adopt, refine, and apply FinOps principles to track cloud usage and improve financial accountability of cloud resources
Work with teams to define, automate, and enforce cloud budgets to ensure spending remains within defined limits
Design scalable cloud infrastructure architectures aligned with cost, security, and availability best practices
Automate provisioning, monitoring, and management of cloud systems to increase operational efficiency
Deploy monitoring solutions to detect performance issues early and optimize resource utilization
Strengthen cloud security through access controls, encryption, and policy enforcement
Define and enforce cloud governance standards to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to meet their cloud infrastructure and operational needs
Create comprehensive documentation for cloud setups, workflows, and recommended practices

Engineering leadership role within a technology delivery organization

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience managing cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS
Strong understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps methodologies
Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures
Experience with infrastructure automation tools and practices
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members
