Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate LQA testing on assigned titles or project tracks, ensuring alignment with localization goals, certification readiness, and global quality standards
- Provide hands-on management of small analyst teams and/or vendor groups, tracking their performance and offering coaching where needed
- Collaborate with localization producers, game designers, and developers to ensure test planning, risk analysis, and reporting meet project needs
- Help define test requirements based on milestones, scope, and risk assessments, with guidance from senior LQA leadership
- Implement and maintain LQA best practices for bug triage, coverage planning, checklists, and terminology adherence
- Drive QA issue resolution by escalating to the appropriate stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-up
- Identify and suggest process or tooling improvements that enhance team productivity, bug visibility, or test accuracy
- Participate in the selection and onboarding of QA vendor partners, and monitor contract fulfillment and delivery standards
- Conduct regular test plan and test case reviews, and ensure documentation aligns with evolving project requirements
- Support the training and mentorship of new or junior team members, helping shape onboarding, coaching, and upskilling initiatives
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment by encouraging open communication, shared accountability, and knowledge exchange
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of localization QA experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior analyst or team lead role
- Experience working with QA vendors, distributed teams, or multi-language release pipelines
- Familiarity with LQA tools, QA methodologies, and content management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray, CAT tools, TMS, CMS)
- Strong understanding of platform-holder compliance, linguistic QA, and internationalization testing requirements
- Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to influence across QA and localization teams
- A solid grasp of bug taxonomy, test reporting, and issue prioritization across multiple titles or releases
- Ability to mentor others and provide constructive feedback with clarity and empathy
- Professional proficiency in English required
Nice to Have
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in localization, linguistics, game production, or a related field preferred
