Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations, office activities, maintenance, security, cleanliness, and workplace safety to streamline workflows.
- Manage office facilities, including space planning, supply procurement, vendor contracts, fleet/shuttle services, housekeeping, and medical services.
- Develop and execute a site waste management strategy aligned with corporate sustainability goals and local regulations.
- Prepare and manage the administrative budget, monitor expenses, process purchase orders/invoices, and drive cost-optimization projects.
- Ensure organizational compliance with internal policies, health, safety, environmental regulations, and the Bangladesh Labour Act.
- Oversee site crisis response, business continuity planning, and local risk management, including emergency contingencies.
- Support employee welfare, health initiatives, onboarding, and execute employee engagement and cultural events.
- Manage expatriate logistics, including housing, transportation, work permits, VISAs, and legal passes for expat families.
- Manage scrap yard operations, brand protection integration, local CSR initiatives, and sitewide branding guidelines.
Requirements
- MBA or BBA in Human Resources Management.
- 5-7 years of progressive HR and administration experience.
- Hands-on experience managing HR and facilities within an Export Processing Zone (EPZ) environment.
- Deep expertise in Industrial Relations and Bangladesh Labour Law.
- Proven track record in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), agreement and policy making, and project execution.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle Software and Google-based development tools.
- Strong capabilities in budget management, cost optimization, and vendor/stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
