Clinton Health Access Initiative is hiring an Associate, HIV Market Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate substantial data from both demand and supply sides of the HIV market to generate actionable insights that strengthen partnerships with suppliers and guide strategic choices.
  • Lead the creation and upkeep of key communication materials for internal and external stakeholders, including reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Explore, test, and implement artificial intelligence methods to enhance efficiency in gathering market intelligence, processing data, and generating content.
  • Act as a point of expertise on AI within the HIV program, helping teams adopt and apply relevant AI technologies.
  • Design and refine quantitative models to assess the effects of market-related interventions.
  • Assist in collecting data and coordinate with country teams to obtain information necessary for analysis and insight development.
  • Collaborate with global partners and internal teams to create and distribute forecasts for diagnostics and antiretroviral drugs.
  • Communicate analytical results effectively to diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Deliver on-demand analytical support to internal teams addressing HIV/AIDS-related challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree combined with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, or comparable fields
  • Strong inclination toward data analysis and information management, with proven analytical, quantitative modeling, and problem-solving abilities
  • Substantial experience in managing databases and working confidently with large datasets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including crafting and delivering persuasive presentations
  • Highly detail-focused, capable of delivering refined outputs with minimal revisions
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work autonomously, stay self-motivated, and initiate action
  • Strategic thinking skills, comfort with ambiguity, and adaptability in a fast-moving, multicultural, and unstructured environment
  • Quick learner who can absorb and synthesize evolving and complex information efficiently
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and adjusting focus dynamically
  • Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Demonstrated experience or interest in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance productivity, data analysis, or content creation

  • Background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience living or working internationally, especially in low-resource or developing country settings
  • Familiarity with or experience in global health, particularly HIV/AIDS programs
  • Prior use of AI tools in professional data analysis or workflow optimization
