AirTrunk is hiring an Associate Director, Security Programs & Assurance

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the governance and quality of data centre physical security designs throughout all project phases.
  • Serve as the lead authority on security design validation, challenging internal and external parties to meet organizational and industry benchmarks.
  • Create and manage a structured review process for physical security systems in new constructions, expansions, and major upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce security design governance models, standards, and evaluation procedures.
  • Perform formal design assessments at critical project stages from concept through handover.
  • Ensure all security designs adhere to internal policies, customer obligations, regulations, and best practices.
  • Identify design flaws or vulnerabilities and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and authorize changes to security designs, evaluating their operational, commercial, and security implications.
  • Provide final security design acceptance input and approval support.
  • Act as the primary expert and leader for physical security architecture and risk assessments.
  • Assess new technologies and suggest improvements for security performance and efficiency.
  • Integrate security planning into long-term site development and capacity strategies.
  • Mentor team members and strengthen internal expertise in security design assurance.
  • Lead technical assurance for regional Security Program Managers across all physical security systems.
  • Establish technology refresh strategies to maintain system resilience and business alignment.
  • Analyze product lifecycle risks and plan for system upgrades.
  • Document maintenance requirements and lead technical input for security integrator procurement.
  • Ensure security systems are scalable, cyber resilient, and operationally sustainable per cybersecurity policies.
  • Work with Cyber Security teams on system hardening, vulnerability management, and secure configurations.
  • Collaborate with Development, Design, Construction, ICT, Operations, Risk, and Customer Solutions teams to enforce security consistency.
  • Manage global partnerships with consultants, engineers, integrators, and vendors.
  • Produce executive reports on security risks, threats, and program performance.
  • Influence cross-functional decisions during project execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date security standards, technical specifications, and design guidelines.
  • Track industry developments, threats, and innovations to evolve security standards
