Role Summary
This position leads a team of Central Monitoring Managers responsible for supporting clinical trial programs through effective oversight and strategic resourcing. The role ensures that monitoring activities are conducted with quality, on schedule, and aligned with broader research objectives. Leadership focuses on building team capability, enhancing performance, and maintaining agility in response to evolving project demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a cross-functional team of Central Monitoring Managers accountable for the successful execution of clinical study portfolios.
- Develop and implement staffing strategies that align with clinical program goals, adjusting as needed to meet shifting priorities.
- Recruit, onboard, and train front-line leaders, ensuring they have the necessary therapeutic, compliance, and operational knowledge.
- Coach and mentor team members to support their professional growth and prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Set performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide timely feedback to maintain high standards and address performance concerns.
- Promote a culture rooted in inclusion, innovation, learning, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
