About the Role

The individual will engage in daily security operations including monitoring, triage, vulnerability tracking, audit support, and compliance tasks under structured guidance. Responsibilities

  • Analyze alerts generated by MDR/SOC platforms.
  • Distinguish false positives and escalate potential threats following established procedures.
  • Observe security dashboards during assigned shifts.
  • Record assessment outcomes clearly for shift transitions and keep alert status logs up to date.
  • Contribute to improving triage runbooks as system knowledge grows.
  • Execute scheduled vulnerability assessments across specified groups of assets.
  • Classify and validate scan results under supervision.
  • Monitor progress on vulnerability remediation and maintain the central vulnerability tracking system.
  • Highlight delayed patching relative to SLAs and assist in preparing executive reports.
  • Collect required data, document timelines, and perform assigned tasks during active security incidents under direct oversight.
  • Preserve incident response records, including logs, event sequences, and post-event summaries.
  • Engage in simulated incident drills as an observer and documentation assistant.
  • Gather and prepare evidence for SOC 2 and IT general controls audits.
  • Complete compliance checklists accurately and on time as directed by the GRC Analyst.
  • Support responses to client security questionnaires by retrieving relevant documentation from internal sources.
  • Help maintain policy attestations, update vendor risk records, and document actions tied to NIST CSF remediation.
  • Manage KnowBe4 security awareness campaigns, track completion metrics, extract reports, and identify non-compliant users.
  • Keep detailed records of completed actions, discoveries, and escalations.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to speed up documentation and generate draft content for senior review.

Compensation

Base salary varies by location; determined by role, level, and qualifications. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
