Michels Utility Services, Inc. is hiring an Associate Construction Project Manager – Transmission Line

Responsibilities

  • Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Support Project Managers in overseeing project execution under direct supervision
  • Help develop and monitor key performance indicators, project budgets, and cost management systems
  • Assist in tracking project expenses, labor utilization, timelines, and progress reporting
  • Coordinate activities with field crews, foremen, subcontractors, engineers, and utility stakeholders
  • Support procurement processes, material submittals, and equipment logistics tracking
  • Help manage subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Maintain accurate project records including cost data, billing, schedules, and budget documentation
  • Assist with communication and reporting requirements for federal and state regulatory agencies
  • Help develop and update project schedules under supervision
  • Attend construction meetings to support coordination and project execution
  • Support estimating efforts, proposal development, and quantity take-offs
  • Provide administrative and operational support during extended field assignments
  • Assist with managing project changes, productivity analysis, and closeout procedures
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as needed
