About the Role
The individual will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build and optimize analytics solutions that power product and operational insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models that support reporting and analytics use cases
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for accurate data transformation and delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality and consistency across analytics systems
- Optimize SQL queries and data structures for performance
- Document data models, pipelines, and analytical processes
- Support the evolution of the analytics data warehouse
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Contribute to best practices in analytics engineering
- Use version control for data modeling code and pipeline configurations
- Monitor pipeline health and implement alerting when needed
- Work with stakeholders to refine business logic in data models
- Apply testing methodologies to validate data accuracy
- Integrate new data sources into existing analytics frameworks
- Support dashboard and report development with reliable datasets
- Participate in code reviews for analytics codebases
- Improve data discoverability and metadata management
- Assist in defining metrics standards across teams
- Maintain awareness of analytics engineering trends and tools
- Contribute to on-call support for critical data pipelines

- Experience with dbt (data build tool)
