Responsibilities
- Prepare, assess, and amend commercial contracts essential to international operations.
- Evaluate customer specifications, RFPs, and proposals to support growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, compliance, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver actionable legal advice.
- Recognize potential legal and business risks and recommend viable, pragmatic resolutions.
- Advise on data privacy obligations, including cross-border data flows and compliance with contractual safeguards.
- Analyze government, defense, and regulated-sector agreements for adherence to applicable rules.
- Support corporate governance functions and associated legal processes.
- Perform legal research and create tools such as templates, playbooks, and guidance materials to strengthen compliance and risk management.
- Oversee engagement with external legal advisors and service providers as needed.
- Participate in departmental projects aimed at enhancing legal operations and efficiency.
- Deliver cross-functional legal support across internal and external teams.
