Responsibilities
- Oversee the work of broiler service technicians and the biosecurity compliance officer.
- Provide training and professional development for service technicians and supervisory staff.
- Execute company broiler operations and poultry health initiatives, ensuring compliance by staff and contracted growers.
- Conduct daily assessments of service routes and farm productivity as related to live production costs.
- Track ongoing flock health metrics and processing plant performance.
- Manage a comprehensive housing program for poultry.
- Coordinate with hatchery leadership to maintain appropriate chick placement density.
- Enforce adherence to all animal welfare standards and protocols.
