Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of underground mining equipment, including maintenance planning, major repairs, part replacements, and decommissioning.
- Organize scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks to increase equipment uptime and reduce operational delays.
- Track asset performance, reliability, and usage, introducing improvements where necessary.
- Manage the acquisition, stock levels, tracking, and warranty processing of spare parts.
- Create maintenance timetables, delay analyses, and reports on equipment efficiency.
- Lead weekly operational meetings focused on equipment availability, maintenance priorities, budgets, and forecasts.
- Evaluate contractor performance, financial results, and fulfillment of commercial obligations.
- Oversee invoicing processes and support budget development and financial projections.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact for operational and financial issues.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Hire, and Finance departments to enhance contract outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations, legal standards, and internal safety policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel at least three days per week to underground mine sites and client locations, with additional travel as needed.
