Responsibilities
- Drive development within our web .NET projects, delivering robust web components and APIs that power modern web applications.
- Oversee the evaluation, improvement, and monitoring of frontend and backend performance, ensuring reliability, stability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX, architecture, and integration teams to deliver smooth, real-time data flows across systems.
- Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code, while helping define coding standards and best practices for the team.
- Ensure high quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices. Support the team in building secure and maintainable solutions.
- Stay ahead of the latest trends in .NET web and backend engineering, helping the team adopt new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Share progress, highlight risks, and solve problems proactively. Mentor junior developers and cultivate a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC C# /.NET web development.
- Strong command of .NET 6+, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (EF Core).
- Experience with CSS/SCSS, HTML 5.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with typescripst / javascript / angular / react
- Solid understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and modern development principles.
- Knowledge regarding CI/CD pipelines and expertise using version control (Git).
- Strong grasp of performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid grounding in Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive, learning-focused team culture.
- Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics clearly.
- Proficiency in English is a must
Nice to Have
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a strong plus. (e.g., Sitecore, Umbraco, Optimizely, EpiServer)
- Dutch or French one is desirable.
- Experience providing L2/L3 support in a production environment is a nice-to-have.
- This role may require flexible availability outside of working hours at specific points in time (such as system go-lives).
Compensation
