Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a strategic plan for expanding transportation planning services in the DMV region, consistent with broader regional and business goals.
  • Formulate targeted market and client strategies centered on key public agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and local government entities.
  • Drive the development of sales opportunities, gather market insights, and establish strategic positioning for high-priority clients and initiatives.
  • Foster and sustain trusted relationships with senior and technical decision-makers to position the firm as the preferred partner, offering tailored advisory services.
  • Lead or assist in pursuit planning, including team formation, value proposition design, and competitive positioning for major opportunities.
  • Work closely with operational and technical teams to synchronize growth objectives with workforce planning, technical capabilities, and project delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate with strategy, growth, and account management teams across business lines to identify and leverage cross-sector opportunities.
  • Align growth initiatives with operational leadership in transportation planning to ensure staffing and capabilities support long-term business targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, account strategies, and critical pursuits, ensuring proposals are client-focused and demonstrate technical quality.
  • Enforce consistent use of CRM systems and formal pursuit management protocols.
