Baqend GmbH is looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our customer base in Berlin, focusing on key sectors including residential construction companies, gas stations, and grocery retail. You'll play a central role in our mission to create a future-oriented, low-emission smart city infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Directly acquire new B2B partners through active field sales.
- Manage a customer portfolio across three sectors: grocery retail, gas stations, and residential construction companies.
- Work in the field approximately 3-4 days per week in the Berlin region.
- Take full responsibility for customers from initial contact through to contract signing.
- Develop tailored solutions for regional partners, considering local conditions.
- Represent Baqend at regional industry events, trade fairs, and conferences.
- Build a strong network of relevant contacts in your region.
- Drive the company's rapid growth through your ideas and sales talent.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent German language skills.
- Residence in Berlin is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales or B2B direct acquisition.
- Experience selling services.
- Proven, profound experience in contract negotiation.
