Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the reference architecture for ArcGIS Enterprise environments running on Kubernetes
- Design platform architectures that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for cost, including strategies for high availability and disaster recovery
- Deliver expert architectural direction for core ArcGIS components such as Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Stores, and Web Adaptors
- Develop and enforce security best practices covering authentication, authorization, identity integration, and overall platform protection
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform engineering teams to ensure architectures are deployable, maintainable, and suitable for production operations
