Responsibilities
- Transcribe 5-second audio recordings verbatim, capturing speech exactly as spoken.
- Adhere to a detailed style guide covering punctuation, formatting, and audio quality indicators.
- Identify and tag issues such as background noise, truncated speech, or poor audio clarity using standardized codes.
- Maintain an average task processing time of approximately 125 seconds while benefiting from flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong command of written language, including punctuation and grammatical structure.
- Access to a dependable computer, high-fidelity headphones, and a stable internet connection.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting with little direct oversight.
- High level of accuracy and consistency in following structured annotation rules.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in transcription, audio annotation, or similar data labeling roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
