Responsibilities
- Collaborate early with the SAP on the defined Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure.
- Conduct structured mentoring sessions and workshops for testing and commissioning technicians according to the approved Commissioning plan.
- Ensure all site personnel understand and follow the Electrical Safe Systems of Work protocols.
- Issue and manage permits for all energized work activities within the project scope and SAP guidelines.
- Participate in daily testing and commissioning coordination meetings as needed.
- Thoroughly review and interpret project specifications and drawings to identify specific electrical requirements.
- Adhere strictly to operational protocols and electrical safety regulations.
- Understand and apply basic electrical protection principles during fault scenarios.
- Oversee safety documentation, including lockout/tagout procedures and related methodologies.
- Review switchgear distribution layout and control systems before system startup.
- Attend daily project planning and lookahead whiteboard meetings.
- Coordinate with specialized testing and commissioning contractors to review plans and align on test sequences and scripts.
- Work with control system providers (e.g., Scada, BMS, EMS) to develop handover procedures under permit-controlled schedules.
- Support initial equipment startup and energization in compliance with the approved Electrical Safe Systems of Work for low-voltage systems.
- Observe and coordinate targeted tests, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and project documentation standards.
- Verify that all pre- and post-energization testing and tagging activities are witnessed and formally accepted.
- Ensure required test equipment is present, functional, and properly calibrated.
- Maintain strict adherence to information security policies and safeguard data in line with the organization's ISMS framework.
