Sia Partners is hiring an Applied AI Lead - Edmonton

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and implement AI agents, copilots, and automated workflows within client systems
• Develop production-grade code to transition AI solutions from pilot to full-scale deployment
• Integrate AI tools with existing data platforms, software applications, and operational technology environments
• Manage end-to-end technical delivery of project workstreams, including testing, refinement, and handover
• Collaborate with transformation leads to convert business objectives into actionable technical plans
• Engage directly with client engineering, data, and IT/OT teams to assess system limitations and integration options
• Communicate technical limitations and decisions in clear, non-technical terms to business stakeholders
• Assess new AI technologies for practical deployment in environments with legacy or safety-critical systems
• Develop monitoring systems, performance metrics, and safeguards to ensure reliable production operation
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during pilot and scaling phases
• Create reusable code libraries, technical accelerators, and reference architectures for internal use
• Guide junior technical staff and support hiring and capability building within the practice
• Share insights and lessons learned across projects to accelerate future solution development
