Responsibilities

• Integrate vision-language models, large language models, speech recognition and synthesis, detection, segmentation, and embedding models into production workflows using both open-weight models and external APIs.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation and agent-based systems to support clinical documentation and interactive conversational interfaces.
• Implement real-time streaming pipelines for voice-driven agents while maintaining batch and on-demand processing capabilities.
• Create evaluation frameworks to detect regressions during model updates and assess performance against high-precision clinical benchmarks.
• Perform model fine-tuning and retraining using techniques like LoRA and parameter-efficient fine-tuning on data gathered from deployed systems.
• Deploy models across multiple platforms including third-party API services, self-hosted infrastructure, and edge devices on robots.
• Develop data feedback loops that capture, annotate, version, and reuse production data to continuously improve model performance.
• Collaborate with algorithm specialists in signal processing and computer vision to integrate AI components with low-level system pipelines.
