Standard Bots is hiring an Applications Engineer (Solutions Engineer) to architect the future of robotics. You will be responsible for designing, installing, and supporting robotic solutions, working directly with sales, customers, and engineering teams to bring automation to new industries.
What You'll Do
- Work with sales and customers to design solutions around the Standard Bots RO1 robot.
- Go into the field to install, program, and verify Standard Bots solutions.
- Support customers as they find new and innovative ways to use the RO1 robot.
- Develop proof of concept systems to demonstrate Standard Bot’s capabilities.
- Develop supporting materials such as sample code, white papers, and application notes.
- Assist in-house engineering with the design and testing of features and integrations.
- Develop marketing collateral to assist with growing the customer base.
- Travel up to 50% domestically Monday to Friday to assist customers.
What We're Looking For
- A strong technical background.
- 2+ years working in complex environments or relevant educational experience in automation, including basic electrical, programming, and mechanical skills.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Solutions Engineering team, working with other engineers, organizational leaders, sales, and customers.

- Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000 + equity via Employee Stock Options.
