Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering groups to incorporate security measures during application design and development phases
- Lead threat modeling sessions to uncover risks and recommend effective security controls for intricate systems
- Perform reviews of source code for security flaws and conduct assessments to detect application-level vulnerabilities
- Analyze identified vulnerabilities and assess their severity to guide timely fixes
- Build and deploy automated security checks across development pipelines and environments
- Support remediation efforts by triaging findings and tracking resolution progress
- Educate development teams through training and guidance on secure coding techniques
- Work closely with security, privacy, and risk teams to meet compliance and governance requirements
- Establish and manage scalable security standards, processes, and recommended practices
