Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts with ownership of system architecture, conduct code reviews, and serve as liaison among project management, business partners, and developers
- Guide executive leadership and development staff on solution design, requirements, and implementation, ensuring end-to-end delivery aligned with project scope, timeline, and budget
- Rapidly master business workflows related to network inventory, provisioning, service qualification, and facility allocation
- Support core systems through analysis, design, and coding activities
- Gain in-depth knowledge of order management, billing, and inventory platforms to build scalable, forward-looking technical solutions
- Introduce modern development methodologies on the iSeries platform and upgrade legacy practices to current standards
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using strong analytical and debugging capabilities, particularly in RPGLE and CLLE environments, including data correction when needed
- Demonstrate proficiency in RPGIV-ILE, RPG free format, CL, CLLE, service programs, modules, and Embedded SQL, with working knowledge of iSeries OS for navigation and error resolution
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in a dynamic setting, participate in technical discussions, and support junior team members through mentoring and training
- Maintain high standards for user support and foster a collaborative, team-focused work culture
