Ardent MC was looking for an Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Create applications featuring user interfaces, process workflows, and APIs tailored for geospatial systems used by DHS.
• Construct and sustain software that interfaces with geospatial data platforms, databases, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Maintain and enhance geospatial applications deployed in both cloud and on-site environments.
• Produce and manage scripts and automated processes for data handling, verification, and system integration.
• Enable integration of geospatial data services using RESTful APIs and related technologies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to convert operational and business needs into functional technical implementations.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and issue resolution to ensure systems perform reliably and scale effectively.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design through implementation.
• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining geospatial software tools and applications.
• Adhere to DHS security policies, technical standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Produce documentation covering system designs, development methods, and application features.
