Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee journey across South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, including onboarding, contract management, probation tracking, offboarding, and HRIS administration
- Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date across all three locations through regular audits and resolution of discrepancies
- Monitor compliance requirements across multiple markets, identify regulatory updates, and recommend actions while maintaining an updated employee handbook
- Serve as the primary contact for employees in the region on people operations and employment lifecycle inquiries
- Collaborate with the global People Ops team to align processes while incorporating local market nuances
- Administer locally relevant benefits and perks such as health screenings, insurance enrollment, and region-specific offerings
- Support the execution of people programs including engagement surveys, performance reviews, and recurring HR cycles
- Analyze current workflows across the three markets, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and collaborate on process improvements
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of standard operating procedures and playbooks for APAC People Ops
- Assist in designing and deploying AI and automation solutions for tasks like contract generation, onboarding workflows, data input, and request intake
- Gather input from employees and internal partners to guide improvements that deliver meaningful impact
