Responsibilities
- Generate comprehensive cost projections and quantify materials using Australian construction drawings and specifications.
- Accurately interpret architectural, structural, and services plans for estimating purposes.
- Calculate requirements for materials, labor, and subcontracted work in accordance with Australian industry standards.
- Evaluate project documents to detect missing scope elements, potential risks, and financial impacts.
- Provide support in preparing tender submissions, cost forecasts, and detailed budget allocations.
- Assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for precision and market competitiveness.
- Keep well-structured documentation of all estimates, measurements, and pricing records.
- Respond to cost-related inquiries from internal teams during the estimation lifecycle.
