About the Role
The role involves leading the design and deployment of automation strategies using Ansible Automation Platform, ensuring scalable and secure implementations across complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Ansible Automation Platform architectures
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to integrate automation workflows
- Define best practices for playbook development and version control
- Ensure security and compliance in automation processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues
- Optimize automation performance across hybrid environments
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions for operations teams
- Document system configurations and operational procedures
- Support integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate new AAP features and recommend upgrades
- Implement role-based access controls in AAP
- Monitor system health and usage metrics
- Assist in disaster recovery planning for automation systems
- Coordinate with cloud providers for platform compatibility
- Maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments
- Develop reusable automation modules
- Enforce configuration management standards
- Provide architectural guidance during system onboarding
- Assess automation needs across business units
- Ensure audit readiness for automated processes
- Integrate logging and alerting into automation workflows
- Support identity and access management integration
- Guide performance tuning for large-scale deployments
- Promote self-service automation capabilities
- Contribute to technical roadmaps for automation
Nice to Have
- Certification in Ansible or Red Hat technologies
- Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower
